Select paths from drawing (Keyboard S)

Zoom to the extents of the drawing (Keyboard Z)

Move the image within the window (Keyboard P)

Delete the selected item (Keyboard Delete)

Delete outside the selected item (Keyboard O)

Extract the selected item and insides as a new part (Keyboard E)

Move the selected elements to the Engrave layer (Keyboard G)

Move the selected elements to the information layer (Keyboard I)

 

Reload drawing – This will reset your drawing to its’ original state

Save changes made to drawing – This will overwrite your original part and save changes made

Select tool – use to select an object/item to edit

Pan – This enables you to move around the workspace. This will need to be clicked again after every move.

Switch fill on/off – This visually helps to identify the part when there are lots of dimension lines and make what is to be cut clear

Move selected path to another layer – This enables cut outs to be changed from cut lines to etched lines or vice versa. 

 

Remove drawing frame – This removes any boarders created on the file.

Remove non-solid line types such as dashed lines used to indicate bending or etch lines

Remove open inners such as missing lines to form a complete square

Scale the drawing by the specified factor – a drop down will appear to enter a scaling factor depending on what scale the file states enter the scale required to amend

Extract all parts – this is used alongside the add multiple parts tick box. to bring selected parts individually into the quote

Issues box – will state errors that need resolving on the drawing

Add etching text – enter the required information in the fields below such as height and width of text to be etched

Add drawings to the workspace

Send good drawings to quote

Delete selected drawings

Set colours

Drawing dimensions are in mm. Please note all dimensions must be kept in mm.

Allows the user to see the height, weight and width of each part (as in the pop up below)

This part is too large for our maximum sheet size, 2408mm wide and we can cut 1480mm maximum. Please split the part or reduce the width and reimport the updated file
